Huge Response for the Hindu Temple of Atlanta’s 47th Sai
Health Fair

With the divine blessings of Sri Balaji and Sri Ramalingeswara Swami the
Hindu Temple of Atlanta facilitated and hosted the 47th Sai Health Fair at
the Hindu Temple, Riverdale, Georgia, on Saturday, April 19, and April 26,
2025, respectively. Health fairs like these are organized to promote the
enduring philosophies of Mahatma Gandhi and Dr. Martin Luther King
Jr.-nonviolence, community service and social justice. This event was a true
celebration of service, wellness and community spirit-and was a remarkable
success.
Over 350 + participants received free health screenings promoting awareness
and preventive care.

Free consultancy was provided by 17 committed, dedicated and widely
respected, experienced physicians from 12 specialties, and nurses, assisted
by over 40+ volunteers.
Over 200 people registered online for comprehensive blood tests at a nominal
fee of $15, on Saturday 19, which were provided by Health Soft USA, and 8
skilled phlebotomists from GINA, with assistance by Vidya Kanagaraj, RN.
Health Soft USA powered the comprehensive blood work services that formed
the foundation of early diagnosis and preventive care.

Cardiologists Dr. Ravi Bathina and Dr. Lalitha Medepalli and Dr. Narasimhulu
Neelagaru helped with heart-related consultations; while endocrinologists
Dr.S.K. Naidu helped with diabetes advice. Other specialists who provided
helpful consultations were internists, Dr. Shyla Prabhakar, Dr. Keerthi
Reddy, Dr.Jyoti Manekar and Dr.Reneeta Basu; Dr. Satya Suddala (Ob/Gyn));
gynecologist; Dr.Kavitha Gopal (gastroenterology);Dr. Deepak Bhagwandas
(Physical therapy); dentistry specialist Dr. Jalpa Dave; and
ophthalmologists Dr. Indira Menon and Ravali Reddy Gummi, ENT Dr, Rao Nadig;
Over 55 EKGs were carried out by Brooka Dishion

More than 50 bone-density tests were performed by Balamurali, Balamurali
Vika,and Vasudha Edura out of which 26 were abnormal.
Alternative medicine and homeopathy consultation introducing holistic
healing options was provided by Madhavi Kasam.
Certified nutritionist Rajitha RN, provided health and wellness coaching,
promoting healthy lifestyles.
A Bone Marrow Awareness Booth educated and encouraged lifesaving donor
registrations.

Tea, coffee, variety of Juices and drinks and continental breakfast were
provided to all the participants and lunch to all doctors, nurses,
technicians, and volunteers by the HTA and Shanmugam family.
HTA Executive Team commented, “Beyond numbers-A spirit of healing. The
entire environment radiated positivity, care and dedication to wellness.
Participants deeply appreciated the professionalism, smooth flow and genuine
kindness shown by doctors, volunteers and Temple staff.

A sincere thank you to every participating doctor, volunteers, nutritionist,
alternative medicine specialist, and bone marrow awareness advocate whose
efforts made the event impactful, memorable and life-enhancing. Thanks also

The Hindu Temple of Atlanta remains dedicated to promoting health, service
