India’s P M Modi ji inaugurated Pradhan Mantri
Sangrahalaya in New Delhi

As part of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, India’s PM Modi ji inaugurated Pradhan
Mantri Sangrahalaya, in New Delhi, on April 14, 2022. This one-of-a-kind
museum is located in newly built Block 2 of the iconic Teen Murti Complex.
It is a glowing example of digital transformation of museum industry.
Starting from displays on the freedom struggle and the framing of the
Constitution, the Sangrahalaya goes on to tell the story of how our Prime
Ministers navigated the nation through various challenges and ensured the
all-round progress of the country. It is a tribute to every Prime Minister
of India since independence, irrespective of their ideology or tenure in
office.
The Sangrahalaya is an inclusive endeavor led by PM Modi ji, aimed at
sensitizing and inspiring the younger generation about the leadership,
vision and achievements of all Indian Prime Ministers.
It will become a source of inspiration for the youth who will be able to
witness the hardships each PM faced and how they overcame them to lay the
foundations of a new India.
At the inauguration ceremony Modi ji said, “Every government formed in
independent India has contributed in taking the country to the height it is
at today. The museum has also become a living reflection of the shared
heritage of each government. Every Prime Minister of the country has
contributed immensely towards achieving of the goals of constitutional
democracy, the Prime Minister continued. “To remember them is to know the
journey of independent India. People coming here will be familiar with the
contribution of the former Prime Ministers of the country, their background,
their struggles and creations”, he added.

all-round progress of the country.
The Museum has 43 galleries which has personal items, memorabilia, speeches,
and more. It has used state of art technology like holograms, virtual
reality, augmented reality, multi-touch, interactive screens, computerized
kinetic sculptures, and interactive kiosks.
Time Machine is a ride back in time to re-live India’s past. Shatabdi
Sankalp invites visitors to post their vision for India in 2047. Near the
entrance, there is a striking display of the National Emblem of India.
You can sit in a chair and click on a picture with your favorite Prime
Minister sitting next to you in another chair.
There is handwriting robot. It will write a quote of your favorite Prime
Minister with his signature and your name embedded in the quote, which can
be printed for you.
At the Unity Wall you can stand shoulder to shoulder with fellow Indians and
celebrate our greatest strength—Our Unity—at the Unity Wall.
