Annual Ceremony & Art Show GlobalArt, an internationally recognized art education
franchise, held its Annual Ceremony & Art Show on May 10, 2015
at Big Creek Elementary, Cumming, GA. Over 150 GlobalArt
students from various centers, Alpharetta, Cumming, Suwanee and
Norcross, prepared artwork over the course of the year,
incorporating different art methods and mediums such as pencil
sketching, craftwork, acrylic painting and clay modeling.

Hosting an audience of over 250 people, the ceremony began
promptly at
2 p.m. with an opening speech by Sudha Gopalakrishnan, GlobalArt
Georgia's managing director. The following ceremony awarded
students who made significant achievements in art for their
schools, communities and extracurricular activities. Students
were also recognized for their hard work throughout the year at
GlobalArt, where they learned everything from the foundations of
art, such as basic shapes and color families, to full
composition artwork, incorporating art mediums such as color
pencils and oil pastels.

This year's ceremony was followed by the Art Show, an impressive
display of creativity by the students. The art show included
masterpieces in acrylic painting representing the different
seasons: winter, spring, summer and fall. On display was also
craftwork depicting a "jungle scene" using unique air-dry clay.
The pencil sketching displayed the students “first sketch” and
“think outside the box” showcased how they had taken a given
theme and brought out their ideas in the form of a story to
finish the lesson.
The art show truly illustrated the development of creative young
minds.
The day's activities ended with light refreshments.
