GlobalArt Celebrates Another Artful Year
With Its Annual Award
Ceremony
After another successful year of developing the talent of young
artists and inspiring new students to begin their journey into
the world of art, GlobalArt held its Annual Award Ceremony to
recognize the hard work and burgeoning creativity of all of its
students.
The Award Ceremony was held once again at Taste of India’s
Banquet Hall in Alpharetta, GA, where over 150 students gathered
to enjoy the art gallery, award presentation, and Mother’s Day
cake.
After wrapping up the Annual Competition just a week before,
GlobalArt recognized both the competition’s winning entries as
well as the artwork of students who have participated and done
exceedingly well in competitions and contests outside of
GlobalArt that helped hone their artistic skills.

This year’s theme for the Annual Competition, “Colors of
Nature”, was announced to the students weeks before the
competition, allowing them time to prepare and ponder ideas of
what their composition will be.
The Award Ceremony started promptly at 4PM as GlobalArt Director
Sudha Gopalakrishnan took the stage and welcomed the parents and
students in attendance. After the welcome note and introducing
Mr. Pramod Sajja of Paramount Software, who did the honor of
presenting the awards this year, Mrs. Gopalakrishnan began the
award ceremony. Beginning with competition results, first place,
second place, third place, and honorable mention winners were
called to the front of the stage to receive their awards. Next,
students who took what they learned at GlobalArt and
participated in school contests and other competitions were
awarded for their masterpieces. Finally, all students were
awarded trophies and certificates for their participation in the
Annual Competition. The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks
from Mrs. Gopalakrishnan and snacks and Mother’s Day cake was
served.
