Christmas Eve
celebration
at the
ATLANTA EVENTS & MUSIC ENTERTAINMENT HALL
by Ashok Goyal
Where some people see risk, others see opportunity.
A 12,000 sq feet facility in Santa Fe Mall (Venture Cinema
area), previously occupied by Circus World Pizza in 1994, has
now magically transformed into a Banquet & Event Hall under the
new ownership of Ramzan Virani.
Virani is an entrepreneur who used this facility to launch
Jungle Kids Club in Sept 2011 as indoor playground for Birthday
parties and outdoor rental for party supplies under the banner
Jungle Kids Place.
He has since organized fashion shows, talent
shows, dance competitions, trade shows, family festivals,
cultural nights and teen parties for our teens.
Virani has now decided to go full scale into converting this
into an Event Hall and Banquets under the trade name Atlanta
Event & Music Entertainment Hall.
The new event Hall is a very affordable, spacious place for all
your needs to celebrate Birthdays, Graduations, Baby shower,
Music shows, Concerts, Conferences, Meetings etc. The facility
has a kitchen and serving area and can accommodate groups of any
sizes ranging from 50 to 700.
Virani adopted the hybrid model and continues to maintain an
area dedicated to the enjoyment of kids under the name of Jungle
Kids Club. There are inflatable bounce house, slides that kids
love. In addition, they arrange face painting, balloons, clowns,
Henna painting etc. All kids items are available for rental
outdoor for your personal events!
Virani, in association with two local celebrities Ali Asani and
Ashok Goyal, organized a Christmas Eve celebration on Dec 24th
as a public event. He had a very novel idea to allow singles and
families mingle on Christmas Eve when everything is closed and
thus enjoy the festive holiday season together while enjoying
live music.
All audience had one thing in common - the love for songs. Then
a tall ponytailed gentleman and his troop of musicians strolled
towards the stage with a wave of high energy, smiling and
nodding. The highlight of the evening was the famous singer Ali
Asani accompanying his harmonium, flanked by Vijay Tandon on
Tabla and Kareem on Dhol, they looked majestic. Ali started with
his beautiful passionate rendition of ghazals, both filmy and
originals and was mesmerizing with his encyclopedia of free
flowing musician notes, what a genius!
The second half was thundering with the echo of Tabla and Dhol
together by two Bollywood musicians. Every rendition, every
note, every beat would choke the audience and clarity superb.
Rajan Sharma, a musician with 50 years of experience accompanied
harmonium. Music becomes a way to minister to people in times of
trouble, and to lead them to faith to their own inner peace.
Such was the blessings of all the musicians that performed on
Christmas Eve, and Ali, the Genius of the Night kept them all
spellbound.
Virani and his family are passionately involved in every aspect
of decorating and managing the Event Hall.
Tripta Sharma, Shehnaz Virani, Zohra Virani and Sheila Sunder
managed the kitchen and the sumptuous food very well with hot
tea served through out the program.
Virani has dreams of holding community events, trade shows and
uniting the South Asian community at many of his upcoming
events.
Virani has plans to hold regular Yoga and Zumba classes, seniors
programs, karaoke musicals and many other community events. His
son Nizar is equally talented and is training as a DJ to
captivate your next musical party!
