Anika Vennel wins State Level Finalist title
Global Art is a syllabus-based comprehensive art education
program that is known worldwide. At Global Art we strive hard
to
give opportunities to our students to show their artistic skills
through various national and international competitions. We also
encourage them to participate in various activities related to
art such as the PTSA reflections contest, competitions conducted
for community events, and also Google's Doodle4Google Contest.
We are proud to see our students apply what they learn in class
and receive recognition for their work in these competitions.
Last year, one of our students received the state finalist award
in Doogle4Google. We are proud to announce that we have a State
Finalist winner this year as well. Anika Vennel, a student at
Crabapple Crossing Elementary, was awarded as one of Georgia's
State Finalists for 2011.
Her entry was chosen from 107,000
total entries countrywide. Two entries out of four hundred were
chosen from each state. Anika Vennel has been a Global Art
student since 2010.
