Sandeep Narayan is a senior disciple of the well acclaimed musician, Sangeetha Kalanidhi Sri Sanjay Subrahmanyan. Although born and raised in Los Angeles, he had taken up Carnatic music as a career and is now based in Chennai, India. He has won several awards and accolades, and is an A grade artist of All India Radio, Chennai.
