Mr. Nagesh Singh, who joined
the prestigious Indian
Foreign Service (IFS) in
1995, currently serves in a
leadership role as the
Consul General of India,
Atlanta, Georgia, USA. Prior
to being appointed as the
Consul General of India in
Atlanta, Mr. Nagesh Singh
has served with significant
contributions in a myriad of
diplomatic and
administrative assignments
for the Government of India
including as Joint
Secretary/Officer on Special
Duty (OSD) to the Vice
President of India, Director
in the Ministry of External
Affairs, Private Secretary
to the Minister of State for
External Affairs, and Under
Secretary in the Ministry of
External Affairs.
Mr. Nagesh Singh is a
graduate with B.A. (Honors)
in Economics from the
University of Delhi, India
and Master’s in Economics
from the Delhi School of
Economics, India. He speaks
Hindi, English and French.
