Nrupathunga Kannada Koota is hosting Daasara Aradhane for the Fifth consecutive year. Daasara Aradhane is dedicated to all the saint composers of Karnataka. It is a tribute to the composers through music and dance.
Kannada Koota is taking registrations for children and adults (including non-members) to sing or dance to a composition from a Daasaru on the stage.

The event will begin and end with group singing. Solo and small group performances will be planned in between. Each participant or group will present ONE song or dance (not more than 5 mins). There is no restriction on choosing a song already registered by others.

Notable Composers: Sri Vyasaraja, Sri Madhvacharya, Sri Narahari thirtha, Sri Purandara Daasa, Sri Kanaka Daasa, Sri Vijaya Daasa, Sri Gopala Daasa, Sri Jagannatha Daasa, Sri Prasanna Venkata Daasa, Sri Pranesha Daasa, Sri Mohana Daasa, Smt Helavanakatte Giriyamma, Basavanna, Akka Mahadevi, Allama Prabhu etc.,

Special notes: Music items can be vocal or instrumental. All are welcome to join group singing of Pillari Geethams and other Group songs at the beginning and at the end of the event. Registered Mridangam or instrument players will be allowed as accompaniments on multiple items as long as they coordinate with the main performer in advance.
