Sumati Chaitanya, the resident Acharya
at the Chinmaya Mission, UK center in
London will be in Atlanta from January 9th
– 11th 2009. Brahmacharini
Sumati Chaitanya will deliver three
lectures on “Art of Happy Living” as
propounded by the Bhagavad Gita. Topics
for three day lectures are “The cause of
an unhappy life”, “How to live a happy
life” and “The life of a happy person”.
The talks will be held in Global Mall,
Jimmy Carter Blvd., Norcross. “Art of
Happy living’ is a series of three talks
being presented by Chinmaya Mission of
Atlanta based on the perennial wisdom of
the Bhagavad Gita. The eternal truths
contained in this timeless spiritual
scripture are relevant to all regardless
religious affiliations. They reawaken us
to our true nature and help our pursuit
for happiness and serenity in the midst
of a disorderly world. Chinmaya Mission,
Atlanta extends a free invitation to all
to attend these discourses.
Brahmacharini Sumati Chaitanya, a
soul-stirring devotional singer and
highly articulate speaker, has
influenced many spiritual seekers
through her striking personality. She
has conducted many classes for children,
youth and adults and has an uncanny
ability to relate to the people
belonging to all walks of life.
A disciple
of Swami Chinmayananda, Brni.Sumati
Chaitanya was initiated into Chinmaya
order by Swami Tejomayananda, the
current president of Chinmaya Mission in
1995. Brahmacharini Sumati Chaitanya
completed her intensive study of Vedanta
in Mumbai, India, in 1995 and has since
embarked on the noble mission of
spreading the knowledge of Vedanta
through lectures, study classes,
meditation sessions and devotional
singing. She has immensely contributed
to the spiritual growth of hundreds of
seekers. She has attracted many to
Chinmaya Mission and addressed learned
audiences at Universities and Yoga
Centers. Brahmacharini Sumati Chaitanya
has taught Vedanta in various Chinmaya
Mission centers in India, United
Kingdom, and the U.S. She has served the
Chinmaya International Residential
School (CIRS) in Coimbatore for many
