Swami Chidatmananda is the presently Acharya
(Teacher in Charge) of Chinmaya Mission Hyderabad and Regional
Head of Andhra Pradesh, India. Inspired by Pujya Gurudev,
H.H.Swami Chinmayanandaji, Swamiji joined the Vedanta Course in
Sandeepany Sadhanalaya Mumbai in 1989, under the tutelage of H.H
Swami Purushottamanandaji. After completing the course in 1991,
Swamiji was posted as the Resident Acharya of the mission center
in Hyderabad. Swamiji was initiated into Brahmacharya Deeksha in
1993 by Pujya GURUDEV SWAMI CHINMAYANANDA JI, and then as
Sannyasa in 1999 by H.H Swami Tejomayanandaji. Swamiji is
popular in India for his talks on widely viewed cable TV
channels where he expounds Bhagavad Gita & Vemana Padyamulu |
