The production - 'Maya Ravan' is for an hour and a half where the medium for communication will be a marriage between the mudras and body movement of classical bharatanatyam. The dialogues in English will help the viewer understand the movements of classical bharatantyam better and slowly over a period of time create a deeper understanding of the idiom- a naturalistic approach in the rendition of dialogues by artistes from Indian feature films aims to create a different experience for the audience The show will commence with a short collage of bharatantyam to world music where we will do two to three pieces of Bharatanatyam to music from Spain and western classical- and Composer A.R.Rehman's Vande Matram. Following which, Maya ravan will be performed for about an hour and a half.
