GFUSA JANUARY 2007 TRIPLE CELEBRATION



The Gandhi Foundation USA is pleased to present their annual January Triple Celebration on Saturday, January 27, 2007. The program commemorates the 9th anniversary of the installation of the statue of Mahatma Gandhi at the Martin Luther King, Jr. National Historic Site in Atlanta. It also honors Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s birthday and celebrates the Republic Day of India. This year's program will begin at 1:00 pm with a short devotional service at the Gandhi Statue located in the Martin Luther King Visitors Center on Auburn Avenue in the National Historic District which will be followed by a Peace March across the street to the Historic Ebenezer Baptist Church for the remainder of the program. There will be several guest speakers, lively dances and several musical performances. Light refreshments will be served afterwards.
