THE FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS - A CULTURAL EXTRAVAGANZA

The festival of lights or more popularly known as Diwali captures the essence of festivity and embodies the true sense of spirituality for the Indians. The Diwali Mela organized and hosted by Desiroots Inc. at Tadka Square in Alpharetta on Oct 9th was a world apart from any other. The sprawling outdoor setup, the illuminations, the huge inflatables/rides for the kids, the multi cuisine food stalls, the Electrifying Stage Performances, the continuous raffle drawings coupled with fireworks were all a treat for the atlantans.

The cultural extravaganza transcended the traditional boundaries and successfully displayed a rainbow of international colors. The evening was marked with wholesome entertainment and left a magical imprint on the minds of all those who were part of it, kids and adults alike.

DesiRoots inc, has been instrumental in bringing about a wave of refreshing change in the entertainment industry of Atlanta. The flavors of our home country, the aura and splendor of our customs are all being revived through such events and let us experience the magical journey of ‘Home away from Home’.
