The Atlanta Chapter of Heartfulness Institute and Swarganga Music Foundation organized a media conference at the home of Sanjay Sehgal on Sunday, June 10, 2018. The media conference was well attended by local media representatives, representatives of Atlanta Organizations and volunteers of the Heartfulness Institute.

The attendees, after meeting and greeting each other at the informal, light-hearted, convivial meeting enjoyed delicious snacks and thandai.

Sanjay warmly welcomed and thanked all for attending the meeting. This was followed by a video of how relaxation is being taught in schools and how Heartfulness Meditation is being practiced in over 130 countries. Sanjay, in his articulate and relaxed manner, gave a brief overview of the Heartfulness Institute, a non-profit global organization with thousands of certified Heartfulness volunteers who offer free practices in the Heartfulness Way of meditation.

Sanjay then briefly spoke about the 4th, and current, Global Guide, Kamlesh D. Patel, also known as Daaji. He noted that the difference between Mindfulness and Heartfulness Mediation is simply that the former meditates on the mind whereas through Heartfulness meditation, the heart regulates the mind. He then informed the gathering of the monthly Heartfulness magazine and the Let’s Meditate Heartfulness app.

Sanjay recounted how he was drawn into meditation and lauded the beneficial results of the Heartfulness meditation he has experienced.

He informed the gathering of the upcoming The Heartnotes event on June 30, 2018 and urged the attendees to help sell the tickets and ensure success of the grand show.

A complimentary copy of the book The Heartfulness Way was given to the attendees. After a brief photo session, all enjoyed the delectable lunch.

The Atlanta Chapter of the Heartfulness institute (a non-profit focused on Meditation and Wellness) and SwarGanga Music Foundation (a non-profit that promotes Indian Classical Music) are pleased to launch the inaugural edition of their annual health and wellness event – Heart Notes - on June 30th, 2018 at the Infinite Energy Center, Gwinnett County, from 4 to 7 p.m.
This year’s event promotes the North American book launch of The Heartfulness Way: Heart-Based Meditations for Spiritual Transformation, by Kamlesh D. Patel and Joshua Pollock. The book was earlier released in India by none other than the President of India himself, and quickly rocketed to become a #1 best-seller there. Since its launch in North America it has already made its place in the top 5 rankings on Amazon and Barnes & Noble in the categories of meditation and spirituality.
The book, written in a conversational style between the two co-authors, is easy to read, and showcases Heartfulness, a unique, accessible meditation practice that awakens us to the wisdom and inspiration of the heart and transforms us from within. In today’s fast-paced world where despite the pursuit of outward status and success, one is often left feeling empty inside, this book provides a roadmap to find lasting happiness, fulfillment and purpose by turning our attention inwards and reconnecting with our higher selves.

The Heart Notes event will bring together multiple distinguished celebrities to produce an evening that will nourish the heart with soul with stirring music and inspiring discourse:
