Anand Entertainment was started by Bhavana Anand, and her husband, Vishal Anand to promote Indian dance & culture. Last year they brought famous Bollywood choreographer Geeta Kapoor to judge their talent show. This year’s star was famous dancer Dharmesh Yelande. Dharmesh has participated in several reality dance shows like the Boogie Woogie, and was first runner-up on Dance India Dance season 2. He also starred in two movies ABCD 1 & 2 (Anybody Can Dance), and choreographed the movie Tees Maar Khan. He has a huge fan following, and does dance workshops and shows across the Globe.

The dance workshop was held over 3 days from noon to evening. On the first day, Dharmesh taught the dance Bom Diggy. Audience loved it. Pooja Sen, a participant tweeted “Day 1 Dance workshop with #DharmeshSir. We all know he is an amazing dancer with all that swag but today I witnessed a great teacher in him. He is an amazing teacher. He teaches with so much patience. Loved each & every moment”. On the second day, Dharmesh taught the dance on “Mercy”. On the third day, Dharmesh taught the iconic dance moves of Prabhu Deva from “Urvasi Urvasi” from the movie “Hum Se Hai Muquabla”. After that, there was a surprise treat for all. The organizers invited Sagnika Mukherjee Paul, the winner of Dance fever 2017, to come on the stage and dance with Dharmesh Sir. The duo rocked the stage with moves from Bom Diggy & the crowd were ecstatic. Sagnika thanked Dharmesh Sir, and told TV Asia “D for Dance, D for Dhamaka, D for Dharmesh...!!Words will be fallen short to describe the energy level he holds and spreads. Super talented dancer with such a humble heart”. TV Asia reporter Anjali Chhabria interviewed Dharmesh, Bhavna and Vishal Anand on the stage where they answered questions from the audience.

Overall, the event was houseful, with the workshop attended by hundreds of participants all over Georgia, and neighboring states. Dharmesh sir, with his finesse, expressions, and moves energized the crowd, and made it easy and fun to learn. He shared anecdotes and experience from his life which was inspiring. Dharmesh gave input on mastering the art and craft of dance. Although, there were hundreds, Dharmesh paid personal attention, and guided the beginners, as well as the advanced level dancers. This was a great platform for the young and talented dancers to come and learn the unique techniques from a star dancer and choreographer like Dharmesh.

Participants given certificate at the end

Indian consulate member, Mr. DV Singh, came on the last day and thanked all for keeping the Indian culture alive. In the end, all participants were provided with a completion certificate.
